The Home Improvement Sweepstakes ( Sweepstakes ) Official Rules: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER.  MAKING A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes begins on or about 1/1/08 and ends 12/31/08. Participation is open to homeowners who are legal residents of IL, IN, KS, KY, MO, OH or OK age 21 or older. How to Enter: To enter, complete and mail the accompanying entry form, selecting one prize category only, or enter at promotional events. Additional entry forms listing all prize categories may be obtained by writing to: Entry Request, Home Improvement Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 39219, Louisville, KY 40233. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Limit a total of two entries accepted per person or household address. Entries must be received by 1/15/09. Drawings and Prizes: Limit one prize per person/household address. Winners will be selected by random drawing on or about 1/31/09 from all eligible entries received. There will be random drawings for each of nine different home improvement prize categories: (1) Window or Door Replacement: One Grand Prize Winner will receive THV replacement windows for their entire home. Does not include basement or garage windows. ARV $7,000. One Second Prize Winner will receive choice of either a THV Compozit Window Systems triple pane bay or garden window. ARV $2000. One Third Prize Winner will receive choice of either a THV Compzit patio door or two entry doors. ARV $1500. Ninety-eight Fourth Prize Winners will each receive one THV Compozit Window Systems triple pane double-hung replacement window. ARV $590. New windows and doors only installed in place of existing windows or doors of same size. (2) Bathroom Remodel: One Grand Prize Winner will receive remodeling of two bathrooms according to design and specifications of Sponsors  designer. Fixtures are included. Painting and flooring not included. ARV $5000 (3) Kitchen Remodel: One Grand Prize Winner will receive remodeling of their kitchen according to design and specifications of Sponsors  designer. Existing kitchen appliances will be used. Painting and flooring not included. Fixtures are included along with limited lighting fixtures. ARV $7000. (4) Deck: One Grand Prize Winner will receive a custom-built deck (not to exceed two hundred square feet of floor area). Does not include stain or paint. ARV $6000. (5) Sunroom: One Grand Prize Winner will receive a patio enclosure supplied and installed on Winner s existing patio, footing or deck (not to exceed two hundred feet of floor area). Lighting fixtures and ceiling fans not included. Very limited electrical wiring included at Sponsor s discretion. ARV $10,000. (6) Roof Re-shingle: One Grand Prize Winner s roof will be covered with high-grade roofing shingles. Does not include repairs or removing existing roof. ARV $4000. (7) Siding: One Grand Prize Winner will receive vinyl siding on all exterior painted walls of home. Includes soffit, fascia and gutters. ARV $7000. (8) Fencing: One Grand Prize Winner will receive vinyl fencing for their yard. 100 running feet with gate. Does not include removing any existing fence. ARV $5000. (9) Gutter Protection: One Grand Prize Winner will receive up to 200  of Clear Water Gutter Protection installed over existing gutter. Winner will have choice of color. ARV $1500. (10) Acrylic Tub Liner: One Grand Prize Winner will receive a new tub or shower package to cover existing tub or shower. Fixtures are included. ARV $2800. All prizes include installation unless otherwise stated under category. Actual retail value of any prize may vary depending upon available products used and actual work performed. Winners who purchase a product from Sponsors in 2008 in the same prize category as the drawing entered may elect to receive a refund of the amount paid, up to prize limit, in lieu of prize.  All improvements will be specified, designed and installed by Sponsors  representatives. All products are basic models and brand/style is Sponsor s sole decision. Winners are responsible for all taxes, insurance and any other fees and costs associated with prizes. Home improvements will be made only at address listed on entry form. Some THV locations do not sell all product categories and therefore do not offer all of them on their local entry forms. General Conditions: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which are final and binding. Odds of Winning:  A maximum of six million entry forms will be distributed; however actual odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received for each category. Winners will be notified by telephone and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Winners will be required to sign and return a Work Agreement, Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release before work begins. In the event of noncompliance, or if a winner cannot be reached at the telephone number on winner s entry, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected by random drawing. No prize transfer permitted. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner's name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertising and  trade, in any medium, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Except as specifically provided herein, no cash or prize substitutions except at Sponsors  sole discretion. Employees of THV and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each (collectively,  Sponsor ) are not eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion. Winners assume all liability and agree to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason in its sole discretion.
